How to Cut Weight for Wrestling or a Fight
Many people have heard that the fundamental approach to the fat loss portion of cutting weight involved calories in versus calories out. Is this true? Yes. However it is much more complicated than that. The fat loss portion of cutting weight involves not only eating the correct amount of calories in comparison to the amounts of calories burned to create a caloric deficit. Being that a pound of fat is 3500 calories, and individual needs to go into a caloric deficit of 3500 calories to burn a pound of fat. For example, a 500 calorie deficit each day will burn one pound of fat in one week (500 x 7 = 3500). The more complex part of this process includes eating the right amount of calories at the right time.
