Truth or Myths about "Weight Loss"

The Joys of Being a Diet Wellness Coach

I just Love What I do!!!

Carmel Aaron - Diet Wellness Coach
Since I began this wellness program myself in June of 2007, I have been on a mission to help others as I have been helped. It put it all together for me. What I mean is that I was already deeply in wellness, but, didn't know how to normalize or balance my size. Since learning this I have been on a mission to help others who were just like me.

First I became certified in the only program that ever worked for me, and, the rest as they say is history. Since August of 2007 I have been teaching classes and using this wonderful program to help others change and even transform their lives.

Yes, hundreds have gotten great results. But, not everyone who takes my classes applies the program fully. Real commitment is needed to get the very best results.

I get so excited every time I begin another new class - why? It is because I know that their possibilities are without limit. I know that their heart's desire is within their reach - if they extend the effort and commit.

My Tele-Conference classes are comprised of people from across the country. But right now I am honored to be helping a couple in my home town. (I put in a special class just for them because of their unusual work schedule) I have known the wife for some time, and I am thrilled to have them both in class. Yes, I am saying that they are totally committed--and it can be demonstrated.

In just a few weeks the husband has lost over 25 lbs, and that many inches.
I hope that you are doing well! Just wanted to tell you about this cool new video that I just watched from my new friend and respected colleague, Dr Charles. In it, he reveals a very unusual tip for a flatter belly in just 3 to 10 days. I watched it, thought it was brilliant, and figured you might find it very helpful too.
I hope that this was short and sweet enough for ya. Have an amazing day!!
. His wife (she is much smaller ) has lost over 15 lbs and at least that amount of inches.

That is just telling you about their size, but they are enjoying so many more Health and Wellness benefits. They both just had their medical check-ups and are so happy with the results. He has done something he has wanted to do for a very long time, his cholesterol has dropped 41 points since following this wellness program. (he is very happy indeed).

His wife said that, concerning her test results, everything was in the normal range for her, and her doctor told her to never go off this program! That's pretty good validation for a Diet Wellness program.

Since they live here in town I am able to see them every once in a while, and I am able to see their transformation with my own eyes.
I love it! I love it! I love it!!!

Decrease your Calories and Increase your Exercise

Is this the Truth or a Myth to Weight Loss?

Diet - Vegetables
People have been taught and still believe that all you must do to lose the weight is decrease the calories, and increase the exercise: the equation is quite simple.

This equation is supposed to produce weight loss.

Let me ask you: Has it worked that way for you?

I'm here to tell you it just doesn't work that way for a very large (excuse the pun) part of the population. There's far more to it than that.

As someone who has been dieting the majority of my life, I truly believed that lie for most of it.

Another important point is: a segment of the population has the gene for obesity. For people in this category it is much more complex to lose excess weight or fat, than those without that gene.

It is possible to lose excess fat and become much more normal, but you need to know the truth.

Notice I did not say that it was possible for everyone to become skinny. I said much more normal. Let's be reasonable in our expectations.

Does just Decreasing your Calories and Increasing your Exercise equal Fat Loss?

What does add up to the results you crave?

Do Calories Count?

Is Every Calorie just a Calorie of Equal Value?

The truth is that yes calories do count, but, not the way you have always thought. Calories work differently in different bodies, depending on your genetics, your metabolism and other variables. Also, different types of calories work differently.

Yes, I know, you have been taught that a calorie is a calorie, and therefore if you confine yourself to just so many calories a day, you can lost the weight no matter what type of calories they are -

That just isn't true.

Cake Calories Versus Broccoli Calories

Are they of Equal Value?

For instance, if you have 500 calories in cake, it is just as good as 500 calories in broccoli.

Not even close.

For one thing cake has nothing it except sugar, other carbohydrates and some chemicals which are non foods. There's not much nutrition is most cakes. Broccoli on the other hand has so much nutrition and protection that the human body needs and demands to work properly.

To explain say you need $500 to complete a project. Would you like $500 of real money or Monopoly money? Which one would help you accomplish your goal?

Of course you need the real money, fake money just won't be accepted to buy your materials or to contract the work you want done. The same is true with real food and their calories.

What about Low or No Fat?

We've been told -Eat low fat-- Fat causes the body to become fat.

Scientists and some doctors are discovering that this is just another myth. Fats and oils are not only not the cause of excess fat on the body, but now it has been proven that good oils and fats are very needed for a healthy body and appropriate fat loss.

Dr. Rosedale's book called the Rosedale Diet informs us that he has had thousands of success stories with his patients, and he has people adding a tremendous amount of oil to their diet to normalize their leptin levels. Leptin is a very important hormone produced by the body when proper oils are supplied to an appropriate diet. It is needed to tell the body when to eat and when to stop eating.

This brings about a normalizing of the body and also body fat. Of course the oils he uses are only good oils like pure organic first cold pressed olive, avocado and almond oils. So the type of oils and fats in the diet must be the proper ones.

Another fine example of this is the Schwarzbein Principle. Dr. Diana Schwarzbein is an endocrine specialists and she was able to get wonderful results with her diabetic patients by adding oil and fat, as well as decreasing the amount of carbohydrates in their diet.

Then she expanded her program to use on people that had been unsuccessful with weight loss. They also had great results.

So, low fat and no fat is another myth we must not believe in for weight loss.

Carbohydrates-Grains-another Myth?

Most suggested diets contain a base of carbohydrates. We have been told to have several servings of breads and grains daily.

Carbohydrates are a form of sugar and pour sugar into the bloodstream. This has been found to be a leading cause of weight gain.

Besides that, the majority of our population are unable to handle grains or many people are allergic to gluten. So, gluten itself can be a huge factor in an unhealthy body. If you want to lose weight you must get the right amount of carbohydrates for your body type or your genetics, and no more.

Exercise?

Exercise is good-So, are there Myths about this too?

How many times have we been told the more exercise we do the better. Yet, there are documented cases of people who regularly over exercised, kept their calories quite low, and could not lose any weight. You may find this hard to believe, but it is true in many cases.

This we now know is because over exercising leads to over production of cortisol, which does not allow it to come back to normal, and a raised cortisone level will not allow the body to burn fat properly. The only thing the body will do under this circumstance is store and keep fat.

Now, I'm not telling anyone you don't need to exercise. You need to find out what amount and types of exercise are right for you.

Your genetics and body type must be considered, even when it comes to exercise.

Don't be fooled by all the hype, myths and lies. Find out the truth for yourself.

You and your loved ones are worth the time and effort.
